Summary
Operations AgentAn Operations agent provides legendary Customer Service by assuring weight and balance of aircraft, efficient boarding of aircraft, and coordinating Ramp, Operations, Provisioning, and aircraft servicing to accomplish on-time performance.Arranges for fueling of aircraft as requiredCommunications with Airport Dispatch, Communications with Airlines Dispatch, Updating FLIFO, and communicating with stations flight departures/arrivalsPrepares weight and balance formsClose out flights: files and maintains accurate flight papersPrepares dispatch release forms and collects weather reports from the informational system for Crewmembers and keeps all Station team members apprised of flight and weather informationCoordinates special services needed on aircraft such as servicing lavatories, cabin grooming, wheelchairs for customers, and special emergency cleaningOperates boarding bridge, coordinates boarding and deplaning customersWorks with Gate Agents in expediting the check-in process collects boarding passes and/or electronic boarding data, and verifies boarding countsHandles station AMS and radio communications trafficResponsible for ground security and assuring Operations follow security proceduresMust be able to communicate information and instructions verbally and via radio equipmentRequirements:Experience and understanding of the commercial issues in aviationMust have a High School Diploma or GEDMust be at least 18 years of ageCapable of processing information in a timely mannerMust have and maintain a Valid Drivers LicenseAble to proficiently speak, read, and write in EnglishBasic Computer literacyPrevious ramp or airline experienceMust successfully complete all training requirements and maintain certification through employmentMust clear a FBI fingerprint background check and obtain a custom sealPhysical Requirements:Must be physically fit to perform duties of the job including but not limited to standing, lifting, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods of time.Capable of repetitively lifting up to 70 pounds in confined spacesWilling to work outside in all types of weather conditions with exposure to loud noisesWorking Hours:Must be able and flexible to work variable shifts, weekends, and holidaysSpecific shifts to be determinedMust be able to work extended hours on short notice during non-routine operationsCompensation:Starting Pay $13.00hrPart TimeBi-Weekly Pay
