Swissport operates 50+ airport lounges across the world under the brand name of "Aspire Lounges". Our lounges are not quite cafés or restaurants but offer a haven for guests looking for a comfortable seat, complimentary food and drinks, great WiFi and above all a fantastic experience before their flight, no matter the reason for the journey.
The expected pay rate is $18.25/hour. Full-time employees are offered a range of health and wellness benefits as well as 401(k) with company match paid vacation time, sick time, and company paid holidays.
Your activities
- Greeting, engaging with and registering customers at reception
- Replenishing our deli counter with food and drinks
- Topping up our drinks stations and maintaining stock levels
- Serving beer, wine and other beverages from our fully tendered bar
- Bussing tables, sanitizing, dish washing & maintaining high levels of cleanliness at all times
- Assisting with deliveries and stock rotation
- Regularly stocking and cleaning restroom facilities, every hour
- Sweeping, mopping and vacuuming floors as needed
- Above all, deliver exceptional customer service with every guest interaction
- Other duties as assigned
- Lounge agents must be 21 years of age or older
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation to and from the airport
- Able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
- Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift (8 hrs); walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching
- Positive attitude and willingness to get along with co-workers
- Ability to pass a 10 yr. federal background check
- Professional personality and strong customer service knowledge
