The University Corporation is a non-profit auxiliary corporation providing commercial and administrative services to California State University, Northridge. Overview: The Research Technician l will provide technical support for the NIH-funded research project, Project SHARE. Duties include data management, data analysis, creation of a longitudinal dataset, geocoding, survey programing, participant tracking and management. The Research Technician l will also assist with on going data collection and executing study protocols.

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Research Technician l is responsible for data management, data analysis, and supporting data collection in alignment with established study protocols.

Qualifications:

Equivalent to graduation from a four-year college or university in a job-related field. Additional experience in a job-related field may be substituted for up to two years of the required education, on a year-to-year basis.

Knowledge, Specialized Skills, and Abilities:

The candidate will have experience with data management related to large, survey-based research projects. The candidate will also have experience with analyzing quantitative survey-based research data.

Pay, Benefits, & Work Schedule

This position is employed through The University Corporation (TUC).

Full Pay range: $21 per hour - $30 per hour

Time Base: Part-time - 20 hours
