Description

Overview

This position provides support for users in the Engineering Department for login or password-related issues and identifies and corrects discrepancies. Troubleshoot and resolves errors with the MSATO and e-Builder systems. Ensure users are assigned to the correct roles within workflows and adjust assignments as needed. Streamlines recurring processes and maintains templates within e-Builder.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve errors encountered within the MSATO (Master Service Agreement) system and e-Builder. Identifies, diagnoses, and resolves technical issues, discrepancies, or errors. Provides support for users experiencing login and password-related issues and adds new users. Ensures users are assigned the correct roles and steps within the workflows. Adjust assignments as needed to maintain the integrity of the workflows

• Understands software application requirements and participates with other IT and Engineering team members to identify end-user operational and customer service delivery needs. Provides technical expertise and assistance in diagnosing technical issues. Maintains templates within the applications to streamline recurring processes

• Provides reports and prepared documentation based on status meetings. Prepare and present change management items to maintain cross-functional teams and maintain efficiency. Assists vendors in completing required actions within a process. Follows up to ensure that the necessary actions are completed and successfully uploaded

• Plan and document all aspects of assigned projects using e-Builder. Works closely with management and stakeholders to ensure that the scope and direction of each project/assignment are on schedule. Analyzes and provides quality technical solutions to comply with the organization's architectural standards

• Other duties as assigned

Position Type and Typical Hours of Work

• Exempt - Full-Time

• Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is a schedule requirement

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate's degree (AA/AS) or 2-year technical certificate

• Three (3) years of experience

Licenses and Certifications

Required

• A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

• Proof of Automobile Liability Insurance

Basis of Rating

A recruitment consultant will evaluate all applications against the posted qualifications and may request additional information. The city may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
