This is mid-level supervisory or specialized professional work in planning and policy development for the Missouri Department of Public Safety. This position is responsible for the accurate and timely accounting, monitoring, and disbursement of millions of dollars in federal and state funds. This position is responsible for supervising, evaluating performance, training, mentoring, and assigning projects to assigned staff members. This position prepares and delivers reports and briefings on complex federal assistance programs and conducts presentations in front of large groups. The candidate for this position will have extensive knowledge of Federal and State regulations, statutes, laws, and policies.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:



The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

This description may not include all the duties, knowledge, skills, or abilities associated with this position. Normal work hours are Monday - Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. However, overtime or unusual working hours are required during an emergency event. Occasional same day or overnight travel is required.

Salary:

$65,000.16-$69,000.00 per Year
