Please note : The salary range listed in this job description is a base salary. Applicants eligible for years-of-service adjustments or shift differentials may exceed salary range listed above.

This position will be located at 1730 East Elm Street, Jefferson City, MO with the Missouri Department of Natural Resources, Environmental Remediation Program, Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Section.

You will be joining the Department’s Brownfields/Voluntary Cleanup Program (BVCP), where you will work as a brownfield development/outreach coordinator who will cultivate awareness of the BVCP as well as assisting interested parties in securing financial assistance from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the State of Missouri.

What is a brownfield? Brownfields are sites where redevelopment and reuse are complicated by known or suspected contamination with hazardous substances. Here in the BVCP, our services include providing oversight for voluntary cleanup of environmental contamination by property owners and other interested parties as well as providing brownfields site-specific assessments of properties for public entities such as cities, counties, quasi-governmental entities, and not-for-profit organizations.
