Job Description:

Purpose:

This position provides accounting and financial support to City management by processing, researching, and analyzing accounting data and transactions; prepares basic financial reports and financial statements.

The Accounting Associate I position will be responsible for processing various accounting transactions, including accounts payable, cash receipts, accounts receivable, mileage claims, travel advances and claims, journal entries, and petty cash. This position is assigned a city credit card (ProCard) for accounts payable purposes, manages contract credit card payments, and also takes on the responsibilities of a ProCard Accountant.

S alary Range :

$22.05 to $24.26 per hour

H ours :

Full Time/40 hours per week

Monday - Friday ( 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.)



N ote : Hours and work schedule may vary based on operational or business needs; evenings and weekends may be r equired .
