Minimum Qualifications
Required:
- Valid Texas Driver's License
- H.S. Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Animal welfare or animal care experience
Position Description
Under limited supervision; the Customer Service Representative will support guests in every manner, both on the phone, via email and in person.
Position Responsibilities
- Assists the public with adoption outcomes and assist with general animal or shelter related questions.
- Maintains cash and fund accounts and records.
- Answers questions and inquiries via phone and email and directs customers to the correct resources.
- May be required to respond afterhours, including holidays and weekends, in the event of a departmental or City-wide emergency.
- Fills in for other operational roles as needed. This includes but is not limited to direct animal care, adoption, animal services, and foster care or medical support roles.
