We are a Pathway Designated facility by ANCC, and we are on our journey to Magnet status.Position Summary:Oversees warehouse receiving, storage and delivery functions including supervising support staff, determining inventory levels, ordering stock supplies, determining vendors and responding to complaints from other departments.
Job RequirementEducation/Experience:Equivalent to graduation from high school and four (4) years of purchasing, central stores, warehousing or inventory activities or related experience, one (1) year of which was in a lead or supervisory role.
Licensing/Certification Requirements:Valid State of Nevada Driver''s License. May be required to maintain a current forklift certification.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Physical RequirementsKnowledge of:Modern theories, principles and practices of modern supervision; operations, services and activities of materials handling program, computerized inventory systems; procurement theories and principles; delivery and shipping standards and methods; medical supplies and brand names; modern office procedures, methods and computer equipment; principles and procedures of record keeping; pertinent federal, state and local laws, codes and regulations; department and hospital safety practice and procedures; patient rights; age specific patient care practices; infection control policies and practices; handling, storage, use and disposal of hazardous materials; department and hospital emergency response policies and procedures.
