This position is housed within the Lead Hazard Reduction Unit of the Bureau of Environmental Epidemiology and plays a key role in advancing lead exposure prevention efforts across Missouri. The unit oversees programs that support lead hazard reduction in schools, early childhood centers, childcare facilities, and residential homes. The individual in this role will be primarily responsible for data collection, entry and management, and will serve as the primary technical support for fulfilling the reporting requirements of various state and federally funded grant programs.

The salary indicated represents a base pay rate. If the individual selected or the position is eligible for a pay differential (e.g., shift, security, or years of service), it will be added to the total compensation in your paycheck. A pay differential does not raise your base pay.

• This position supports two exciting programs within DHSS: the brand new HUD Capacity Building Grant and the continued Get the Lead Out of Schools Program (GLOS).
• Cultivate and maintain strong working relationships with program partners and stakeholders, providing technical support related to the reporting and data collection requirements of the grant programs.
• Assist in enhancing the HUD and GLOS reporting systems by tracking the progress of incoming reports while identifying areas for improvement in reporting workflows.
• Design and maintain a public-facing dashboard to display GLOS water sample results and remediation efforts, promoting transparency and public engagement.
• Collect, consolidate, and manage data from multiple internal and external sources, integrating it into centralized systems to ensure accurate, efficient storage and easy retrieval.
• Provide data entry, database maintenance, and reporting support to additional Bureau programs.
• Coordinate and assist with BEE’s community outreach initiatives, particularly in support of the GLOS, HUD and WIIN grant programs.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 0-2 years of relevant experience. (Substitutions may be allowed.)
• A high level of commitment, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient in data management systems/software.

Salary:

$43,000.00-$50,000.00 per Year
