An Administrative Assistant job is available with the City of Fort Worth Neighborhood Services Department/Administration & Financial Services Division.
Minimum Qualifications: - Associate’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in Business Management, Public Administration, Business Administration or related field
- Four (4) years of clerical and administrative experience.
Preferred Qualifications: - Familiarity with PeopleSoft HCM/Financial.
- Experience in a municipal setting.
- Experience in human resources and/or grant management.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Intermediate to advance skills with MS Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
Administrative Assistant job responsibilities include: - Review and/or correct all employee timesheets for the department in PeopleSoft and be back up HR and MRC coordinator.
- Create IT tickets for new employees on board
- Set-up interviews for open positions
- Prepare e-PARs (electronic Position/Person Action Request)
- Work closely with supervisors and managers
- Interpret, follow, and apply City Personal Policies and Procedures including department and divisional policies and procedures
