Description

The Missouri Lottery Commission is seeking an individual who will be responsible for management of regional Lottery front office operations to include interaction with retailers and the public.

This position will manage, plan, assign, delegate and coordinate activities of customer service representatives and the warehouse manager. In addition, this individual will assist with ticket sales, redemptions, validations, prize payments, customer service issues, and provide training on Lottery procedures, policies, products, and operations of all office equipment. Responsible for assisting staff in check writing, ticket orders, prize receipts, reconciliation of daily cash statements and cash drawer. Ability to supervise, train, motivate, and evaluate staff and plan and organize their work. This position is responsible for establishing a role as an expert regarding Lottery issues when responding to inquiries, research trends, practices and innovations and technological advances to improve customer service across the entire organization. Must have the ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain effective working relationships with Lottery management, staff, and the general public. Provide sales team support including winner banners and meeting support. Will serve on various committees and teams to provide the customer perspective and grow knowledge base. Participate in monthly meetings with internal customers to share information. The hours for this position are from 8:00 to 5:00.

A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 15 earned credit hours in one or a combination of the following: Accounting, Public or Business Administration, or a closely related field.

OR

Four or more years of clerical experience in accounting or bookkeeping, or closely related areas, including two or more years in a supervisory or semi-technical capacity; and possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
