Position DescriptionA job involving an appointment for infrequent temporary work where the employee is called in as needed.
Major/Essential Functions- Answers phones and schedule appointments for patients.
- Consults and pulls consults over the phone.
- Schedules hospital D/C and messages nursing staff.
- Works phone calls with an abandonment rate goal under 5%, average handle time, calls return to queue.
- Helps notify new patients of upcoming appointments.
- Attends monthly department meetings.
Required QualificationsEducation: A High School diploma or GED; Additional education may substitute for the experience requirement.
Experience: 1-year Customer Service, office, or related experience.
