This is an entry-level applications development position supporting the Department of Economic Development(DED), Department of Agriculture(MDA), Department of Commerce and Insurance(DCI), and Department of Public Safety (DPS). The employee will involved in standard coding, debugging, and modifications to existing applications. Employees will conduct standard testing and prepare documentation in accordance with existing standards and practices. Employees will utilize existing software tools and will work under the direction of a more seasoned applications development resource and/or team leader.

This position is with the Office of Administration, Information Technology Services Division (OA-ITSD) supporting the Department of Economic Development(DED), Department of Agriculture(MDA), Department of Commerce and Insurance(DCI), and Department of Public Safety (DPS).

Knowledge of the core programming language used in the assigned area. Knowledge of computer logic statements and their applications. Ability to learn and apply concepts. Ability to perform basic mathematics. Ability to provide logical and innovative ideas, and think critically to resolve issues. Ability to communicate with staff, management, and agency personnel.
