Job Description Professional Counselor III $5,916.90/month 1 PositionCollege Station, TexasThe Role at a GlanceThe Professional Counselor III under general supervision, is responsible for providing mental health treatment and crisis intervention to Public Safety Professionals throughout the State of Texas, consultation and outreach services to the Texas public safety/first responder community, clinical supervision to practicum/intern trainees, course delivery, and specialized counseling services consistent with area(s) of clinical expertise.
This position will report to the Program Manager.
Qualifications of the Role - Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology, other specialty related to job function.
- Five years post-licensure clinical mental health experience providing therapy.
- Must have a valid motor vehicle operator’s license or ability to obtain within 30 days of employment.
- Mental Health license issued by Texas Behavioral Health Executive Counsel.
- Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Must maintain licensure for continued employment.
