Job Location: This position will be located at 205 Jefferson St., Jefferson City, MO 65101.
Assist section leads with grant management and reporting (e.g. financial management system, correspondence, application submissions, etc.).
Create and maintain spreadsheets and databases related to budgets and other fiscal records, expenditures and payments.
Receives, logs, sorts, and distributes section’s mail and supervises the dispatch of outgoing mail.
Inventory and order supplies and equipment.
Prepare copies, correspondence, and print requisitions.
Prepare, organizes, and maintains files.
Provide assistance with managing various conference logistics, on-site registrations, dissemination of materials, preparing agendas/meeting minutes, and taking follow-up action.
Provide technical support to stakeholder inquiries via email and phone, which includes serving on the Front-Line team by answering general phone calls to the Department.
Review/proofread manuals, documents, contracts including Invitation for Bids (IFBs), Request for Purchase (RFPs), invoices (Departmental Purchase Request (DPR) and expense accounts) and technical reports.
Demonstrate regular, reliable, and engaged attendance.
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of three years’ experience in progressively responsible administrative duties.
Lack of post-secondary education will not be used as the sole basis denying consideration to any applicant.
