Position: Crossing Guard

Site: Junior High

Requirements:

Individual must be familiar with traffic rules and regulations

Ability to communicate clearly with public: motorists and pedestrians using speech, hand motions, and traffic signs

Observe and direct students to cross at proper intersections

Dependable individual to report to duty at 7:00 a.m.

Great interpersonal skills and professional conduct

Neat appearance

Able to read and write effectively to report traffic matters and situations

Sharp mental alertness to guide students safety across intersections

Starting Date: As soon as possible

Application Procedure:

Internal applicants must complete transfer request at the same site. Prairie-Hills Elementary School District 144 conducts pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
