About the PositionThe Mamaroneck Public Library is seeking a flexible, dynamic, and tech-savvy part-time Reference Librarian who is passionate about public service and community engagement.This position is part-time and requires availability for a minimum of two Saturdays per month, with additional evening shifts as needed.While the primary focus is on Adult Services, this role also includes occasional cross-departmental support, such as desk coverage or assistance in the Youth Services Department.ResponsibilitiesProvides reference desk support including reader's advisory, reference services, and basic technology and computer assistance to the public.Participates in collection development and maintenance activities.May plan and implement programs or events.Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Library Director to support the library's mission and goals.Education/QualificationsMLS or MLIS from an ALA-accredited UniversityNYS Public Librarian Certification or ability to become certified.Compensation$28 per hour.How to applyPlease email resume and cover letter to: Ursula Heinrich, Head of Adult Services – [email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
