SPACE ELECTRONIC WARFARE (EW) COUNTERSPACE ANALYST

LOCATION: Peterson SFB, Colorado Springs, CO

JOB STATUS: Full-time
SALARY: $100,000 - $135,000

CLEARANCE: TS/SCI - SAP eligible

Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a SPACE ELECTRONIC WARFARE (EW) COUNTERSPACE ANALYST with experience in Orbital Warfare to support Combat Forces Command (CFC) Headquarters located at PETERSON SPACE FORCE BASE, COLORADO SPRINGS, CO.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • 8+ years of space operations experience, encompassing work at both tactical/squadron and Staff/Higher Headquarters levels
  • Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred)
    Note: Additional space operations / orbital warfare experience may be considered in lieu of education
  • Highly proficient in Briefing Senior DoD Leadership
  • Highly proficient in Technical Writing
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Tool Suite (PowerPoint, MS Word, Excel)
  • Active TS/SCI Security Clearance
  • Must be Special Access Program (SAP) eligible

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

  • Orbital Warfare and/or Electromagnetic Warfare experience preferred
  • Previous SAP experience preferred
  • Counter-intelligence polygraph preferred

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Providing Special Access Program (SAP) support to EW capability deliveries
  • Accomplishing detailed EW system analysis, developing program courses of action, and providing recommendations on: doctrine, organizational structure, training requirements, operational testing, personnel assessments, facility needs, and other material and non-material solutions necessary to transition new and emerging EW capabilities into operations.
  • Providing command level force generation, presentation, employment, and sustainment support to operations units.
  • Drafting systems and operations concepts in support of EW capability deliveries.
  • Assisting Space Operations Command weapon system leads in the development of General Officer-level briefings that relay status of critical Combatant Command capability deliveries.
  • Coordinating with program offices, operations units, requirements offices, mission partners, and other associated organizations to assist in delivery of Electromagnetic Warfare systems.
