Summary

Civilian Specialist For The Cnsl N44 Combat System/Weapons Department

You will serve as the Civilian Specialist for the CNSL N44 Combat System/Weapons Department during in-port and at sea periods onboard USN vessels (to include AA sites) and execute assessments of Combat/Weapon systems and associated support systems.

You will work hand in hand with respective military departmental leads and recommend, to senior leadership, adjustments, modifications, and revisions to meet planned readiness and assessments program objectives.

You will collaborate within CNSL and across the waterfront (Regional Maintenance Centers, ISICs, etc.) to ensure material assessment deficiencies are understood, enabling ships to properly correct material issues identified during assessments.

You will develop, coordinate, and conduct briefings to inform and advise CNSP and CNSL executive (Flag and SES) and senior staff on readiness results or other germane initiatives.

You will analyze current Directorate programs to identify and suggest revisions to existing procedures.

You will serve as a subject matter expert (SME) in identifying how new or paradigm shifting assessment and/or measurement strategies and projects can be integrated into overall CNSL and N44 program plans.
