The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can thrive with limited supervision and possesses excellent communication skills to interface with customers, understand requirements, and translate them into actionable solutions.ResponsibilitiesSupport the full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications using the Oracle APEX toolset under the direction of the program manager.Utilize Oracle APEX 21 and above for advanced development tasks.Work with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.Design and dynamically manipulate web content using JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.Create dynamic reports within the Oracle APEX environment.Support advanced use of Oracle Database products version 11 and above.Provide support for Oracle database objects, including tables, indexes, directories, sequences, and triggers.Support PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting with familiarity in built-in PLSQL packages and procedures.Manage storage, retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data (BLOBs, CLOBs, JSON, XMLType) in an Oracle environment.Integrate and manage BI Publisher templates and web services.Analyze existing Oracle Forms applications and design migration strategies to scalable and secure web applications using Oracle APEX.Develop APIs and connections to external applications.Deliver enterprise-level, workflow-centric applications successfully.Build logical functions and algorithms to automate business processes.Basic QualificationsBachelor's degree with 12–15 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree with 10–13 years of relevant experience. A Doctorate in a technical domain may be considered. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.U.S. Citizenship required.Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.Experience with secure network programming in an Oracle environment, including the use of security certificates and HTTPS callouts.Experience with full lifecycle development of custom Oracle Applications, including the Oracle APEX toolset.Experience with Oracle Integrated Development Environments such as Quest Toad and Oracle SQL Developer.Proficiency in JQuery, Ajax, JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.Experience with PL/SQL, Java, Windows PowerShell, and Unix shell scripting, with familiarity in PLSQL packages and procedures.Experience in storage, retrieval, and manipulation of unstructured data in an Oracle environment.Proven ability to establish goals and meet project objectives.Experience with data migration tools and techniques.Ability to write and maintain system documentation on work products.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.Experience in Agile development.Experience interfacing with customers.Preferred QualificationsExperience with Oracle Database products version 11 and above.Experience with Oracle Forms and Reports version 10G or higher.Experience with Oracle APEX 4.0 and above.Experience troubleshooting operational issues.Government contracting experience, particularly with the Department of Justice.Current Department of Justice Clearance.This position requires on-site work five days a week in the Washington, DC metro area.Benefits PEAK's benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), Dependent Care Savings Account (DCA), and 401K plan.
