Summary
Clark Hill PLC is seeking an associate attorney with 3 - 5 years of experience for its Immigration business unit in the Washington, D.C. office. Ideal candidates will have employment-based immigration experience including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, and TNs, along with a willingness to work on all types of immigration matters. Qualified candidates should also have experience advising clients directly on a multitude of immigration matters and should be able to assist clients with the preparation of petitions and applications for submission to the USCIS. PERM experience is required. Candidates should possess strong advocacy, research, and writing skills; a high-level attention to detail; and strong academic credentials. Successful candidates should be able to stay organized and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.Day To Day Responsibilities Will IncludeServe as the primary legal and strategic point of contact for assigned corporate clientsCommunicate case strategies, timelines, and government requirementsParticipate in client meetings, presentations, and immigration program reviewsReview employment-based immigration petitions and applications prepared by paralegals including H-1Bs, PERMs, I-140s, AOS, L-1s, TNs, and othersDraft legal support letters and responses to Requests for Evidence (RFEs)Lead regular client status calls, planning discussions, and escalationsThe salary range for this position at the time of posting is $100,000 - $150,000 annually, based upon a full-time work schedule. Actual compensation will be influenced by various factors, including but not limited to employee qualifications, relevant experience, skill sets, training, internal equity, and market data.
