Flight Support Assistant
Our client is seeking a capable and safety-oriented Flight Support Assistant to support flight testing operations for cutting-edge drone technologies. This role is critical to ensure safe, efficient, and disciplined test operations, working side-by-side with the flight team in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, exhibits sound judgment, and demonstrates a strong commitment to safety protocols and operational excellence.

- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate – Mandatory certification to operate as a qualified Visual Observer (VO) during drone flight operations.

- Physical Readiness & Operational Support Experience – Ability to perform hands-on duties such as preparing drones, managing equipment, lifting up to 50 lbs, and maintaining readiness in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

- Serve as a qualified Visual Observer (VO) during drone flight missions

- Participate in daily crew briefings and mission planning sessions
- Maintain a safe, compliant, and organized operational environment
- Support routine care and upkeep of test equipment and work areas
- Exhibit self-motivation, accountability, and reliability in a dynamic team setting
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure successful flight test execution
Basic Qualifications:
- FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Required)
- Valid driver's license and ability to meet Amazon driver eligibility requirements
- Strong verbal communication and reporting skills
- Proficiency in using basic computer tools and systems
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Physically able to stand for extended periods, perform repeated movements, and lift/carry items up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving test environment
