Transportation Equipment/Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator

Overview As a TAG Transportation Equipment/Vehicle Dispatcher and Commercial Line-Haul Coordinator you will be responsible for monitoring the dispatch, return and maintenance schedules of all vehicles, and equipment assigned to Logistics Support Unit and the scheduling of Commercial Line-Hauls (TAC code) when Military assets are unavailable. This position is contingent upon contract award. Security Requirement: Must possess a SECRET security clearance.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Schedules and dispatches "C" Pool Civil Engineering Support Equipment and Material Handling Equipment for short term loans to NSW East coast commands.
- Re-issues "B" assigned CESE and MHE for re-occurring loans.
- Tracks CESE and MHE for late returns and notify customer of status.
- Maintains a key locker with all keys assigned to the motor pool.
- Monitors the Preventative Maintenance schedule and notify customers in advance of maintenance requirements.
- Maintains equipment status board to accurately display equipment readiness.
- Receives emergency break-down notifications and relay information to chain of command for action.
- Submit TAC codes for commercial Line-Hauls utilizing the Global Freight Management (GFM) system.
Requirements:
- Minimum of one year dispatch operations experience.
- Experience/Knowledge with Fleet Focus Vehicle Fleet Management (FF) system.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to include Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively with others, both verbally and in writing.
- Be able to enter data into multiple databases accurately.
- Possess a valid state driver's license.
