Summary
Security OfficerThis position includes being trained in multiple areas of security, including Patrol, Stationary sites, Events, and Airport Security. Shifts will vary but most will be afternoons through overnights.Starting pay is $18 base with a pay differential based on assignments.Qualifications:21 years of age or olderhigh school diploma or equivalentmust be able to pass an extensive background check2 years previous security, military, corrections or law enforcement experienceprior experience in a leadership or supervisory roleability to problem solve and adjust on demand to meet client needswork independently with minimal supervisioncurrent valid driver's licenseKey ResponsibilitiesOperate as the primary security professional at higher-risk or complex client sites, maintaining a visible, professional presence that deters criminal activity and reassures clients, employees, and visitors.Ensuring guest and employee safetyAssisting staff and clients in resolving customer complaintsConducting regular walk throughs of the facility and scanning check pointsInformally support and mentor less-experienced officers on post (e.g., demonstrating post expectations, sharing best practices, answering questions), without direct supervisory authority.
