Summary
Unarmed Security Officer
Unarmed Security Officers perform various security-related duties depending on the post.
Patrolling and monitoring exterior and community areas on-premises.
Access control of entrances and exits and departure of employees and visitors.
Monitoring surveillance cameras for any disruptions or unlawful activities.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must understand, explain, interpret, and apply rules, regulations, directives, and procedures per contract.
Provide detailed reports on daily activities and incidents that may have occurred.
Knowledgeable and able to effectively use magnetometer and X-ray machines.
Using provided communication devices such as two-way radios clearly and concisely.
Performing CPR or first aid when needed.
Ensure credentials are maintained per contract requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Project Manager.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, a General Education Degree (GED) recognized by the U.S.
Associates Degree
Two (2) years of verifiable experience as an Unarmed security officer
Knowledgeable of the security industry
Must have a customer service-driven mindset
Ability to communicate effectively and present information to all levels of internal and external customers/clients.
