United Protective Services is currently recruiting for a retail security officer working at a retail property in Oklahoma City. This is a retail site in which you will patrol the property in a company vehicle and on foot.
Schedule
Sat-Wed 1600-0000
Pay: $18.00
Your Normal Day Duties:
- Completing reports based off the observation, monitoring, and witnessing of any potential security, safety violations, or maintenance emergencies.
- Maintaining and securing client's property by monitoring, patrolling, and conducting different equipment control checks throughout shifts while on duty.
- Handling the equipment in and around property carefully and confirming the site equipment is operational and hazard-free right when the shift starts and right when the shift ends.
- Conducting mobile patrols using a company truck to secure perimeter of the property.
- Responding to emergencies.
- Assisting visitors.
- Dealing with the public and on some occasions requesting someone leave the property.
- The candidate we select for this position must have strong customer service skills.
- Candidates once hired will be working with the general public giving directions to stores, parking areas, and areas to eat around the property.
- Possess strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Exercise good judgement and maintain situational awareness.
- Possess baseline problem-solving skills.
- Champion a team-first mentality; when everyone is doing their tasks, it makes it that much easier to complete all the tasks.
We are looking for someone that wants to stay busy throughout the entire shift, works well alone and is proficient in de-escalation.
