Join our team of seasoned professionals and become a part of the fabric of the New York food scene.Role and Responsibilities Prevent theft and fraud by guests and employeesEnsuring a safe environment for guests and employeesConduct safety sweeps and constant monitoring of high-risk areasApprehension/Recovery of shopliftersConduct audits of all refunds, voids, line-item voids, Safety etc.Assisting with emergency situationsMonitoring of CCTV surveillance equipmentCollaborate with store management to identify root causes of loss and develop effective solutionsUtilize Point of Sale exception reporting and video surveillance to identify and conduct investigationsAudit sites to ensure inventory is processed, handled, and monitored appropriately, and document any errors or failuresAdditional Asset protection duties as neededConducting Bag checksQualifications and Education Requirements Prior experience in loss prevention or educational background in loss prevention, security, or law enforcement (preferred)2-3 years retail experience (preferred)Detail oriented and good observational skillsKnowledge of loss prevention techniques, security systems, and CCTV monitoringMust be a team player, able to work with different personalities, assertive, able to work with discretion, and professionalBasic computer literacyKnowledgeable on safety processes and proceduresAbility to stand for extended periodsCapable of lifting to 50lbsThe described functions are among the essential job functions for this position but are not exhaustive of the essential functions of the job or of the tasks that an Associate may be required to perform.
