Our client is seeking an experienced Superintendent to take ownership of a major wastewater infrastructure project in New Bedford, MA. This individual will oversee site operations, manage subcontractors, maintain safety standards, and drive the project to successful completion. Client Details This well-established Massachusetts contractor has built a strong reputation through decades of successful project delivery and long-term client relationships. Description Lead all field operations for an active $18M pump station and utility infrastructure project in New Bedford, MA Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and internal crews to maintain project schedules Oversee deep excavation and underground utility installation work Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards on-site Monitor project quality, productivity, and progress while proactively solving field challenges Partner closely with project management and leadership teams throughout the project lifecycle Manage daily site activities, logistics, and workforce planning Support successful project delivery through completion and turnover Profile Proven experience as a Lead Superintendent managing construction projects independently Strong sitework and underground utility construction experience (required) Comfortable overseeing deep excavation work (approximately 25 feet deep) Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to commute to New Bedford, MA and support projects throughout the South Shore region Job Offer Base Salary: $130,000 - $160,000 Performance Bonus Medical, Dental & Vision Coverage 401(k) with 5% total company contribution Daily lunch provided Long-term career growth opportunities within a growing organization MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
