Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $28.71 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, restricted areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access control points, verify credentials and authorizations, and report access concerns or suspicious activity according to site procedures.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
- Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while maintaining professional handling of sensitive information.
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least two years of security-related experience.
- Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Possess an Act 235 qualification in Pennsylvania.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
