Strategic Partnerships Lead - Federal Primes & Capture (Remote USA)
***US Citizenship is required due to US Federal Government contract requirements***
***Must have Federal Prime/capture experience, technical fluency, and the ability to operate autonomously without established infrastructure or collateral***
Objective: Build Legion's Prime-partner program from the ground up and convert relationships with federal Primes into qualified, opportunity-led pursuits.
Responsibilities:- Prioritize and develop relationships with target Primes
- Build the operating playbook across targeting, enablement, teaming, pursuit tracking, and internal cadence
- Develop joint value propositions, solution positioning, and teaming strategies tied to specific opportunities
- Translate Legion's technical capabilities into credible mission and capture narratives
- Work across sales, engineering, product, and marketing to support active pursuits
Requirements:
-Technical Foundation: Technical fluency to speak credibly with enterprise architects and engineering leads in federal environments, not necessary to write code, but must understand how LLMs, agentic frameworks, and developer tooling operate within federal infrastructure, including FedRAMP, IL4/IL5, and zero-trust requirements.
-Startup Agility: Proven ability to navigate a high-growth environment with limited structure. You are comfortable in startup environment building the playbook while you run it, executing independently with minimal supervision in the often long-cycle federal sales environment.
-Success measures: Partner-sourced and influenced pipeline, Primes engaged on priority pursuits, formal teaming positions or defined workshare, and progression toward proposal, award, and revenue.
