Role Overview
We are looking for a dependable Dispatcher/Operator to join the UAS Central Monitoring Station team. You will be responsible for monitoring alarm signals, live video feeds, and emergency alerts, dispatching appropriate responses, and providing outstanding service to our customers and field teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor alarm signals and video surveillance systems in real-time.
- Dispatch police, fire, emergency services, or security personnel as needed.
- Accurately document alarm events, call activity, and incident details.
- Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and response protocols.
- Handle incoming calls professionally and provide customer support during alarms or service inquiries.
- Escalate critical issues promptly to Shift Supervisors or Management.
- Maintain clear, accurate communication with clients, field technicians, and emergency agencies.
- Participate in training sessions and updates to maintain certifications and skill levels.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Prior experience in a dispatch, call center, security, or central station environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
- Ability to stay calm under pressure and make quick, sound decisions.
- Comfortable using multiple computer systems and alarm monitoring software (e.g., MAS, Bold, Stages).
- Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Ability to sit for long periods and work in a secure, controlled environment.
- Familiarity with UL 827 standards
- Strong typing and multitasking skills.
