Baptist Health is looking to add a Security Officer to our Protective Services Department at our Baptist Nassau location. This is a full-time, night shift opportunity position working from 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM.The Security Officer's primary function is to assure the day-to-day safety and security of patients, visitors, and employees by patrolling and monitoring the medical center properties. As patient safety and experience are our top priority, this growing team is currently implementing new technologies such as metal detectors.ResponsibilitiesThe Security Officer will conduct patrols, monitor premises, respond to incidents, and enforce campus security procedures.Experience Requirements1-2 years of Law Enforcement experience1-2 years of Security Officer experience1-2 years of Military experienceEducation & Credential RequirementsHigh School Diploma (required)Associate or Science degree (preferred)Driver's License – DMVPositions designated as requiring a Level II Background (a detailed fingerprint-based screening for positions of trust that checks state (FDLE) and national (FBI) criminal history) will undergo screening as a condition of employment and continued employment.
