Accountant II

Purpose:

Provides financial information to management by preparing, researching, and analyzing accounting data; preparing intermediate to advanced level reports and financial statements.

Notes to Candidate:

This position performs detailed accounting and financial analysis, including preparing journal entries, reviewing expenditures, analyzing revenue streams, handling and documenting cash receipts, and producing accurate financial reports and presentations. The role ensures compliance with financial policies and utilizes City financial systems for precise recording and reporting.

Pay Rate: $65,390.00 - $81,740.00 yearly.

Location: 5202 E Ben White Blvd, Austin, TX 78741

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm.

Hours may vary depending on departmental needs and initiatives.
