The Role:
The Domestic Market Manager will promote, market, and sell Las Vegas, Clark County, and extended destinations as the premier destination for domestic leisure travel. This position develops programs and initiatives, ensuring the LVCVA domestic leisure strategic efforts and goals are met. In addition, this position creates sales and marketing platforms for our mission partners to meet their sales goals.

Strategic Marketing & Events - Develop and execute leisure marketing plans and programs aligned with LVCVA objectives, including education programs, trade shows, workshops, sales missions, and customer events that elevate Las Vegas and create opportunities for resort partners.
- Manage financial planning, budgets, and performance for LVCVA events within the division’s sales plan.
Partnerships & Market Expertise - Serve as a market expert on Las Vegas and Clark County offerings while building strong relationships with airlines, travel buyers, agents, wholesalers, key distribution channels, and resort partners.
- Collaborate with LVCVA teams and the consumer advertising agency on cohesive branding, co-op promotions, and joint strategies that maximize destination visibility and results.
- Secure new and repeat leisure business for Clark County resort partners, staying current on sales disciplines, industry trends, competitive set, and economic and product developments impacting destination choice.
Operations & Representation - Serve as spokesperson to media and the public, as appropriate and with prior approval, and act as key point of contact for meetings, special events, and departmental functions in the absence of the Senior Director of Leisure Sales.
- Travel domestically and internationally for trade shows, sales calls, client development events, and other related functions.
- Prepare administrative documentation supporting division activities, including expense reports, trade show and trip reports, performance management materials, and other required reports.
What We’re Looking For:- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field, or high school diploma (or equivalent) plus 4 additional years equivalent job-related experience.
- 4+ years prior management experience required, preferably in marketing, hospitality, or tourism.
- Destination marketing and/or resort industry experience preferred.
- Ability to write reports, budgets, business correspondence, sales collateral, and procedure manuals.
- Advanced verbal and communication skills to effectively write and speak to top management, public groups and/or board of directors.
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and scheduling tools.
- Proficiency with data insights and reports.
- Basic, entry-level proficiency with some familiarity in the use of AI tools to assist with routine tasks, improving day-to-day work quality, efficiency, and decision-making.
- Must travel for extended periods when necessary.
- Current U.S. Passport for international travel required; current U.S. REAL ID required.

Salary:
$89,300.00 - $111,600.00 Annually
