The Sourcing and Economic Impact (SEI) Group is seeking a Procurement Supervisor to lead within the Procurement Operations Section, overseeing the administration of Request for Proposals, Request for Quotes, and Request for Bids through LAWA’s eProcurement system. This position supervises Procurement Analysts, ensuring quality and compliance of procurement activities, provides training, and supports the development of reports, presentations, and communications for executive management and stakeholders. The Procurement Supervisor also analyzes procurement data and operational issues, providing recommendations to improve processes and support informed decision-making.

REQUIREMENTS/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Two years of full-time paid professional experience in a class at the level of Procurement Analyst in commodity purchasing.

A valid certification for one of the following may be substituted for a maximum of one year of the experience lacking:

1. Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM) issued by the Institute for Supply Management.

1. Certified Professional Contracts Manager (CPCM) issued by the National Contracts Management Association.

2. Certified Public Purchasing Officer (CPPO) or Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) issued by the Universal Public Purchasing Certification Council.
