THE DEPARTMENT The
Human Resources Department serves as a dedicated partner in building a high-quality, people-centered organization for the City of Menifee. Guided by a mission to deliver policy-compliant, professional, and responsive services, the department works to attract, develop, empower, and retain a diverse and highly qualified workforce. HR supports all city operations through fast and friendly customer service, comprehensive recruitment and selection processes, robust employee training and development programs, and the administration of essential employee benefits. The department also oversees Risk Management, fostering a culture of safety that protects city personnel, property, and resources. Together, these functions strengthen the organization and contribute to a safe, resilient, and thriving Menifee.
IDEAL CANDIDATEThis role will be assigned to the Talent Management Team. The ideal candidate is a proactive, analytical public-sector HR professional who seamlessly translates complex data into clear, strategic recommendations. You possess a strong foundational knowledge of human resources, recruitment, labor relations, and employment law, allowing you to hit the ground running and work independently with minimal supervision. You bring a modern, strategic approach to the entire employee lifecycle, from developing recruitment campaigns to partnering with department heads. Highly adaptable and solution-oriented, you are comfortable with shifting priorities and tight deadlines while navigating sensitive workforce matters with the utmost discretion, tact, and confidentiality.
